Originally opened in 1812 and housed in a converted 12th century monastery, this
is one of Italy's most historically important hotels.
The monastery's terrace is famous for its spectacular view, undoubtedly one of
those to have most often graced an artist canvas.
The rooms and suites, constructed from the monk's cells, are surrounded by the
hotel's splendid gardens and look out onto th enchanting Bay of Amalfi. |
