For Vulcano, fascinating and mysterious for its volcanic and post-volcanic phenomenons,
there is the greatest demand in the Aeolian archipelago because of its beaches
of black sand and because of the vivacious nightlife.
Already known by the Grecians, who called it Hierà, namely sacred island, it
had been elected by pagan people the residence of Efesto, the fire and metals
god, who was identified during the Roman epoch as Vulcan god.
